Improving Childhood Nutrition in Kenya

Dr. Paul Johnston is a Professor of Nutritional Sciences at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is also developer of the “super cookie.” In this TEDx talk he explains how the forces of agriculture and nutrition can come together in the form of a “school garden” to provide better nourishment for young people in Kenya.

He is working in the Mombasa region in partnership with Koins for Kenya and Self Reliant Agriculture. The location of our school (Bofu) is in this same region.
