Video from 2011 School Project

This video was created and published by Burt Matthews, a fellow Fruit Heights resident, who was part of last year’s Koins for Kenya (July 2011) expedition. The video will give you a good feel for the area, the people (especially the kids), and various aspects of the culture where our school will be built this July in Bofu. You’ll also see some good examples of the “Koins” school construction and what our school will look like once it’s done.

This video – along with Sue Tingey’s passion – was what inspired us to learn more about Koins for Kenya and the possibility of sponsoring our own school this year.
